QTMBG — Quantum Branding
Film I — Swatch, spread, seam, finished garment
Between the idea
and the shipping mark.
Brand strategy and production sourcing for consumer goods. We work with founders and small brands from positioning through to manufacturing partners.
The practice
Two things decide whether a product works: what it is for, and who makes it. We do both, in that order.
Most brands meet their first factory before they have decided what they are competing on. The specification then absorbs the indecision — options nobody needs, a price that will not hold, a fabric chosen because it was in the sample room.
QTMBG settles the positioning, builds the range and the technical package to it, then finds the manufacturer whose machinery, minimums and compliance standing actually fit what is being made. One practice across both halves, so nothing is lost in the handoff between the people who decided and the people who quote.
We work primarily in apparel and textiles, with founders and small brands — the size at which a wrong factory is not a line item but a year.

A weaving draft from 1760 and a salesman's sample book from 1784. The specification and the range. The job has not changed as much as the machinery suggests.
Capabilities
Four lines of work.
Engaged together or separately. Most clients start at one and stay through four; some arrive at three with a specification already in hand.
01
Positioning & brand strategy
What the brand is for, who it is against, and what it may credibly charge. Settled before anything is drawn or costed.

02
Range & product development
The line plan and the specification. A tech pack complete enough that two factories on two continents quote the same garment.

03
Sourcing & supplier matching
Matching a specification to the factory that should actually make it, then running the quotation and negotiation properly.

Production management & quality
Purchase order to delivered carton. Critical path, inspection at agreed gates, and documents that clear customs.

Where we source
Six markets, chosen for what each is actually good at.
There is no best country. There is a market whose minimums, calendar, capability and duty position fit the garment in front of you.
| Market | Strongest for | Minimum / colour | Sampling | Bulk |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CNChina | Complexity, trims and speed of sampling | 300–500 pcs / colour knit | 10–18 days | 45–75 days |
| TRTurkey | Nearshore quality at commercial minimums | 150–300 pcs / colour knit | 7–14 days | 30–50 days |
| PTPortugal | Elevated basics, jersey, and small runs inside the EU | 100–300 pcs / colour knit | 10–20 days | 45–70 days |
| INIndia | Certified organic cotton, and hand craft at scale | 300–500 pcs / colour knit | 14–25 days | 60–90 days |
| VNVietnam | Outerwear, performance, and volume with clean compliance | 500–1,000 pcs / colour | 14–21 days | 60–90 days |
| MAMorocco | Short runs and replenishment, two days from Europe | 300–800 pcs / colour | 10–18 days | 30–45 days |
How an engagement runs
Eight phases, each with a gate that has to close.
A phase ends when something specific is signed, not when a calendar says so. No bulk fabric is cut before a pre-production sample is approved; no technical package leaves our hands before an NDA is executed.

Standards
What we hold a supplier to before we put your name on it.
A valid third-party audit is a precondition of shortlisting, not something discovered during sampling. Where a claim reaches the label, we verify it at transaction-certificate level rather than accepting a certificate hanging in a meeting room.

If you are checking us out, everything you need is on one page.
Legal entity, jurisdiction, our role in the chain, standard Incoterms, inspection standard, and the documents we will send on request. We act as an agent for the brand — we do not manufacture, and we do not hold stock.

A first call costs nothing and often ends with us saying you do not need us yet. If you do, you will leave the call with a scope, a fee and a calendar.
